Mr. Virendra Shah founded Scientific Diagnostic Centre (SDC) in 1988. Chain of events in Virendrabhai�s life led to the creation of SDC. In early 1988, Virendrabhai underwent a series of pathology tests in Ahmedabad, and found concerning test results. Not convinced about the accuracy of tests, he went to Mumbai and got re-tested at the renowned Bombay Hospital. Turned out, his Ahmedabad lab reports were not accurate. This experience made Virendrabhai realize that lab-testing facilities in Ahmedabad were outdated, and that we needed better Pathology Labs here.
